Memorizing The Periodic Table

Memorizing the periodic table is always a very difficult task, even if we are able to memorize, we wont be able to recall them later on. Hence, it will be a useless investment.
Here I would like to share one method with which I memorized the periodic table. It uses the science of mnemonics.

Using this technique, I am able to recall the first 20 elements of the periodic table in order without any difficulty, even after a period of 8 years.
I am going to write down a story/poem and you just need to memorize that. Memorizing the story/poem would not take more than 5 mins for you. But by processing each word in the story/poem you can recall an element.

I learnt this technique from my Chemistry teacher in the 9th grade. His name is Mr. Errol Fernando. He teaches Chemistry at St. Patrick's High school, Karachi.
